Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Molly Simpson and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the July 25, 2016 Commission meeting held at the District's East Wenatchee office:
Authorized acceptance of work and final payment to Anixter, Inc. under contract 15-30-D, supply and deliver two 115kV breakers for the Veedol Substation. All work has been completed and determined to meet bid specifications. (16-114)
Approved cooperative agreement with the City of Pateros regarding Ives Landing boat launch improvements. The District will support the project and provide funding for improved parking and a new restroom facility. (16-115)
Authorized agreement with the City of Bridgeport regarding an RV park expansion at Conklin Landing. As required by the Wells Project license, the District will support an expansion of the RV park including playground, picnic shelter and restroom with showers. (16-116)
Approved a professional service agreement with the Colville Confederated Tribes for 2016 Archaeological Monitoring for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The Historic Properties Management Plan requires annual archaeological monitoring at forty four high priority archaeological sites for a period of five years. This agreement shall not exceed $75,302 and will conclude June 30, 2017. (16-117)
Authorized execution of memorandum of agreement and amendment to settlement agreement with Bert Stennes, Mike Stennes and Donna Stennes. The amendment changes the stabilization plan for a section of river bank originally agreed to in the settlement agreement. (16-118)
Heard a report on the Douglas County Community Network. The network currently has 3,233 end users.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. August 8, 2016 at the District's East Wenatchee office.
