Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ronald E Skagen, Molly Simpson and Aaron J. Viebrock executed the following actions during the January 9, 2017 Commission meeting held at the District's East Wenatchee office:
Reorganized the Board of Commissioners electing Ronald E. Skagen as President, Aaron J. Viebrock as Vice President/Assistant Secretary and Molly Simpson as Secretary/Treasurer.
Commissioner Ronald Skagen received his ten year service award and
Commissioner Molly Simpson received her 2 year service award.
Approved execution of intent to grant easement agreement and easement with Jack Feil. The District will be replacing the existing poles with taller poles on the West side of North Baker Ave. (17-001)
Authorized video transport agreements with Turner Network Sales, Inc., AMC Network Entertainment, LLC, and King Broadcasting Company. These agreements are required by most networks to receive and transport the signal over the Douglas County Community Network. (17-002-17-004)
Approved award of contract 16-30-W, manufacture and install Wells Hydroelectric Project interpretive exhibits to Formations Inc., the lowest responsive bidder. (17-005)
Authorized assignment of Master Consulting Services Agreement with MWH Americas, Inc. to Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. due to a merger. (17-006)
Authorized the City of Brewster 2016-2017 Operations and Maintenance budget for parks. The District's portion is $66,175 and is required by the Wells Project license. (17-007)
Approved the City of Pateros 2016-2017 Operations and Maintenance budget for parks. The District's portion is $66,175 and is required by the Wells Project license. (17-008)
Authorized land use permit 477-02 – Shari Houck. The permit is for continued use of Project lands formerly permitted to the previous property owners for existing landscaping and garden on District property. (17-009)
