The Electrical Engineer will work under the supervision of the Wells Project Superintendent or his designee. Duties will be related to the operation, maintenance and testing of electrical and electronic equipment and controls for the Wells Hydroelectric Project and its related facilities. The Electrical Engineer's duties may also involve the administration of contractor services for projects requiring bid documents, specifications and construction management. Assignments may include engineering management of projects including electrical and control systems upgrades and replacements.
Preferred, but not required skills and experience:
Experience with hydroelectric generating facilities
Maintenance and testing of high voltage rotating machinery
Supervisory skills and experience
Successful applicants must have:
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering
Ability to interact with co-workers, vendors, and the public in a respectful and positive manner
Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Washington State Driver's License and proof of good driving record
