NOTICE OF ACTION BY
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1 OF DOUGLAS COUNTY
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 43.21C RCW, notice is hereby given that:
The PUD No. 1 of Douglas County did on August 27, 2018, take action which may or may not be held or deemed to be a major action significantly affecting the quality of the environment.
Any action to set aside, enjoin, review or otherwise challenge such action on the grounds of noncompliance with the provisions of Chapter 43.21C RCW (State Environmental Policy Act) shall be commenced within 21 days from the date of the last newspaper publication of this notice or be barred.
The action taken by PUD No. 1 of Douglas County, notice of which is hereby given, was as follows:
(1) Filing of 2019 Distribution System Operating and Capital Budget, the 9/1/18-12/31/19 Wells Project Operating, Capital and Extraordinary Expense Budget and the Environmental Review of both budgets.
(2) Distribution System capital expenditures include electronic system improvements to transmission and substation facilities, improvements and new connections to the Douglas County Community Network, electrical equipment, and right-of-way acquisition costs.
(3) Wells Project capital expenditures will include refurbishment of the Wells Project generating units, recreation action plan items, other renewals and replacements.
(4) Pertinent documents may be examined during regular business hours at the office of the General Manager of Douglas County PUD located at 1151 Valley Mall Parkway, East Wenatchee, Washington.

NOTICE OF HEARING
The proposed budgets for the Distribution System for calendar year 2019 and the Wells Hydroelectric Project for September 1, 2018 through December 31, 2019, and the environmental effects relative to the capital budgets have been filed by the Commissioners of Public Utility District No. 1 of Douglas County. A hearing for the purpose of adopting the budgets and approving the environmental reviews will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the East Wenatchee office.
