Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the January 21, 2008 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Approved the acceptance of all work performed by Pole Maintenance Company working under the second year of contract 06-11-D, pole testing and treating. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (08-09)
Authorized acceptance of materials received from ABB, under contract 06-40-D, Pangborn Substation 115kV Breakers. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (08-10)
Authorized a rate adjustment for the Professional Services Agreement with RH2 Engineering. This agreement allows for the fee schedule to be negotiated annually to reflect any increase in the cost of doing business. (08-11)
Authorized amendment No. 1 to the agreement for professional services with Natoma Technologies, Inc. The amendment will extend the contract period to January 31, 2009. (08-12)
Adopted an amendment to the District’s 401 (a) Deferred Compensation Plan. This will allow employees to make transfers from a prior employer’s 401(a) plan. (08-13)
Authorized participation in the Mid-Columbia Hourly Coordination 2008 Budget. Grant PUD, acting as Hourly Coordination Central, provides services for the coordination of power generation for the Mid-Columbia PUDs. (08-14)
Heard a presentation from Hatch Energy on their evaluation of the proposed Withrow Wind Project.
Rescheduled the February 18, 2008 Commission Meeting to Tuesday, February 19, 2008 due to the Presidents’ Day Holiday. It will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. February 4, 2008 at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
