Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the December 5, 2011 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Conducted a public hearing for questions regarding Local Utility District No. 1 of Douglas County for the Rio Vista Street Assessment Roll. No one being present with questions regarding the assessment and having received no other form of comment, the Commission declared the hearing closed. The Assessment Roll for 2012 is $24.00 per lot.
Conducted a public hearing regarding changes in the boundaries of the Commission Districts. Douglas County Auditor Thad Duvall attended to gain understanding of the Commission’s proposal and to share his insight. No action was taken and the Commission declared the hearing closed.
Authorized amendment No. 1 to professional service agreement with SSP Innovations under contract 11-01-D, provide, install, configure, and implement an integrated software package that will support the mapping and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) needs of the District. Five tasks not previously considered are necessary for data conversion. This amendment will increase the contract $11,880 bringing the total amount of the agreement to $581,940.(11-163)
Approved addendum No. 1 to bid document 11-20-D, Furnish Tubular steel structures for Douglas to Rapids 230 kV Transmission Line. This addendum clarifies items in the bid document and extends the bid opening date to January 9, 2012. (11-164)
Rescheduled the following Commission Meetings due to holiday observance: December 26th was rescheduled to December 27th, January 2nd was rescheduled to January 3rd and February 20th was rescheduled to February 21st.
The meetings will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. December 12, 2011 at the District’s Bridgeport office.
