Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the May 13, 2013 Commission meeting held at the District’s Bridgeport office:
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 13-13-D, provide pole testing and treating services. The District requires pole testing and treating for its distribution and transmission poles throughout the District on a periodic basis. (13-077)
Approved acceptance of work and final payment to WESCO under contract 13-04-D, supply and deliver 4/0 EPR primary underground cable. All materials have been received and meet bid specifications. (13-078)
Authorized a professional service agreement with the Yakama Nation regarding white sturgeon egg delivery. Necessary to release juvenile sturgeon into the Wells Reservoir as required by the new Wells Project license. The total cost of this agreement will not exceed $322,744 and will conclude December 31, 2016. (13-079)
Approved addendum No. 1 to bid document 13-01-W, fire protection and service water system upgrades for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Extending the bid opening date to June 10, 2013 to allow time for a bid clarification addendum. (13-080)
Authorized approval of Land Use Permit T901. This will allow a temporary dewatering system discharge outfall structure necessary for the completion of the City of Bridgeport’s treatment plant expansion on District property. (13-081)
Reminded those present, the May 20, 2013 Commission Meeting has been canceled. The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. TUESDAY May 28, 2013 at the District’s East Wenatchee office.
