Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the June 10, 2013 Commission meeting held at the District’s Bridgeport office:
Opened bids under bid document 13-13-D, pole testing and treating services. The apparent low bid of $118,771 was submitted by Mi Tech of Fond Du Lac, WI. The bids will be analyzed by staff prior to the District awarding a contract.
Authorized renewal of contract 11-10-D, Traffic Control Flagging with TJE, LLC. for an additional year as allowed in the contract. The contract will not exceed $250,000. (13-096)
Approved an agreement with the US Geological Service for water temperature data collection, as required by the new Wells Project license and the 401 Water Quality Certification. (13-097)
Authorized execution of right-of-way WAOR 66258 with the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management. BLM has agreed to renew the easement for an existing distribution line alongside Titchenal Canyon Road. (13-098)
Approved the acceptance of an engagement letter with KPMG LLP for the audit of the Wells Hydroelectric Project fiscal year ended August 31, 2013. KPMG LLP has provided Douglas PUD with consistent certified public accounting services. (13-099)
Reminded those in attendance, the June 17th commission meeting has been canceled.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. June 24, 2013 at the District’s East Wenatchee office.
