Commission Meeting Report 2018-07-30

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ronald E Skagen, Molly Simpson and Aaron J. Viebrock executed the following actions during the July 30, 2018 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:

Heard bid opening results from bid documents18-25-W, Columbia Cove Park restroom and site improvements and 18-04-W, Replace Hydraulic Metal Shear at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. All bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.

Approved acceptance of work and final payment to WESCO Distribution, Inc. under contract 18-12-D, supply and deliver compact 1100 KCMIL EPR primary underground cable.  All work is complete and determined to meet bid specifications. (18-127)

Authorized acceptance of work and final payment to General Pacific, Inc. under contract 18-15-D, supply and deliver high amperage padmount switchgear.  All work is complete and determined to meet bid specifications. (18-128)

Rejected bids under bid document 18-27-W, construct Conklin Landing RV Park. The bids exceeded the engineer’s estimate by more than the amount allowable under state law. (18-129)

Authorized a call for bids under bid document 18-29-W, construct Conklin Landing RV Park. This project will include 17 full RV hookups and restroom/shower facility. (18-130)

Approved a registration services agreement with American Registry for Internet Numbers.  In order to continue providing Internet access at the lowest possible cost, the District needs to acquire Internet Protocol addresses from the American Registry for Internet Numbers. (18-131)

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. August 13, 2018 at the District’s East Wenatchee office.
