Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ronald E Skagen, Molly Simpson and Aaron J. Viebrock executed the following actions during the November 26, 2018 Commission meeting held at the District’s Wells Hydroelectric Project:

Awarded Project Electrical Foreman Steve Babcock with his twenty-five year service award. Commissioner Skagen thanked Steve on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for his years of service. Steve thanked the Commission.
Authorized renewal of contract 16-29-W, 2017 grounds maintenance for an additional one-year period with Reeves Lawn and Spray Service. The cost will not exceed $300,000 and will expire December 31, 2019. (18-200)
Approved acceptance of work and final payment to EcoGrind Site Solutions LLC under contract 18-13-W, perform berm breaching at Cassimer Bar. All work is complete and determined to meet bid specifications. (18-201)
Authorized Professional Service Agreement with The DOH Associates, PS under contract 18-33-D, general architectural services. Necessary for comprehensive Architectural Services to assist the District in performing planning, remodeling, construction and special projects at its East Wenatchee and Bridgeport locations over the next several years. The agreement will not exceed $300,000 and will expire December 31, 2021. (18-202)
Renewed aviation insurance for unmanned aircraft systems with Global Aerospace. (18-203)
Approved renewal of excess liability insurance coverage with AEGIS Insurance Services and Energy Insurance Mutual. (18-204)
Authorized renewal of general liability and automobile insurance coverage with Everest National Insurance Company. (18-205)
Approved land use permit 115-01 to Michael and Dina Beck. The permit is use of Project lands for goose foraging pasture and other wildlife benefits. (18-206)
Authorized land use permit 370A-04 to Bob and Linda Olson. The permit is for continued use of Project lands for previously permitted residential landscaping, fence and a single use dock. (18-207)
Heard a report on the Douglas County Community Network. The network currently has 4,546 end users.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. December 10, 2018 at the District’s East Wenatchee office.
