Commission Meeting Report 2020-10-12

​Douglas County PUD Commissioners Molly Simpson, Ronald E Skagen and Aaron J. Viebrock executed the following actions during the October 12, 2020 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:

Opened the budget hearing for the Distribution System and Wells Hydroelectric Project for calendar year 2021. The hearing will be held open until Monday, December 14, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the East Wenatchee office.

Approved a legal services agreement with the law firm of Paine Hamblen. This agreement will conclude December 31, 2021. (20-183)

Authorized a call for bids under bid document 20-01-W, replace 125VDC Battery Bank #2 at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The equipment is past its useful life and require replacement. (20-184)

Approved renewal of crime insurance with Zurich to October 15, 2023. (20-185)

Authorized renewal of Fiduciary Liability Insurance with AIG. (20-186)

Approved the renewal for Directors and Officers and Employment Practices Liability Insurance with AEGIS. (20-187)

Approved land use permit 303B-01, Ina Fritz. The permit is for use of Project lands for existing landscaping, fencing and a garden area. (20-188)​

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. October 26, 2020 at the District’s East Wenatchee office. The District Office is closed to the public in response to the COVID-19 guidance from Governor Inslee.
