Basic Lit Ethernet Service
Offering 100Mbps and Gigabit upload and download speeds, the DCCN basic lit Ethernet service delivers blazing fast access to retail service providers’ services such as Internet bandwidth, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). The DCCN’s state of the art active Ethernet technology offers significantly more bandwidth than legacy broadband technologies such as cable or digital subscriber lines (DSL). Maintenance and troubleshooting for basic lit Ethernet service is available from 8AM to 4PM, seven days a week.
Integrated Bandwidth Connection
Integrated bandwidth connections are similar to Basic Lit Ethernet Service, but they include Internet bandwidth supplied by the District, and don’t require the service provider to supply their own bandwidth or connection to the DCCN.
Business Class Circuit
The DCCN Business Class Circuit adds up to 10 Gigabit of bandwidth, an improved level of support to the basic lit Ethernet service, and allows business class traffic to be isolated from that of other customers. Business class circuits offer 24/7/365 troubleshooting and maintenance, as well as advanced notification of non-emergency service affecting maintenance. The business class circuit is designed to meet the needs of Internet reliant businesses.
Advanced Transport Service (ATS)
For circuits that demand carrier class reliability, the ATS offers 100Mbps of full duplex data, with an uplink to the network core, and a battery backup on the DCCN edge equipment to ensure that service remains active if electrical power is interrupted. ATS circuits also require the PUD to notify the ATS customer of any non-emergency maintenance 48 hours in advance. All scheduled maintenance which affects ATS circuits is done during a predetermined maintenance window between 12:00AM and 6:00AM.
Internet Protocol Television (IPTV)
DCCN IPTV is a video service which offers crystal clear digital video with comparable channel lineups to most cable or satellite TV systems. The signal’s high fidelity is due to the fact that IPTV only delivers the channels currently being watched, so quality reducing video compression is unnecessary. This means the digital signal is as sharp and clear as it was when it left the TV Network feed.
Dark Fiber Service
The PUD leases dark fiber on a per fiber per mile basis, with a ten mile minimum lease per circuit.
Co-location
The DCCN offers a state of the art carrier-grade co-location facility in East Wenatchee, WA. This facility features fully redundant air conditioning and power systems, key card controlled access, and 24/7 video monitoring with a recorded camera system.
Co-location is also available at other DCCN facilities, on a case by case basis.
