The District has established rules and standards for determining the terms and conditions for the interconnection of electric generating facilities with a nameplate generating capacity of not more than 100 kilowatts to the District’s electric system. These rules are intended to be consistent with the requirements of chapter 80.60 RCW, Net Metering of Electricity, and other related statutes. Attached to the rules and standards is an Application for Interconnecting a Generating Facility and other relevant forms and documents.
The Net Metering Interconnection Standards were approved on July 23, 2007 and amended on August 5, 2013, December 8, 2014 and February 2023.
