Special Commission Meeting Report 2024-09-25

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ronald E. Skagen, Aaron J. Viebrock and Molly Simpson executed the following actions during the September 25, 2024 Special Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:

Approved a resolution for the manager to sign an agreement for balancing authority management, slice purchase and load following with Morgan Stanley. This five year agreement will start January 1, 2026. (24-094)

Authorized a memorandum of implementation regarding Okanogan PUD power sales agreement. This stipulates Okanogan PUD’s share of the Wells Project through 2048 and will allow Morgan Stanley to provide load following and power marketing services for Okanogan PUD’s share of Wells Project Output through 2030. (24-095)

The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. October 1, 2024 at the District’s East Wenatchee Office.
