Douglas County PUD Commissioners Aaron J. Viebrock, Molly Simpson and Ronald E Skagen executed the following actions during the July 12, 2021 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:
Commissioner Viebrock, Kim LaVallie, Commissioner Simpson, Commissioner Skagen
Awarded Distribution Operations Administrative Assistant Kim LaVallie with her thirty year service award. Commissioner Viebrock thanked Kim on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for her years of service. General Foremen Tim Beck said “Kim is amazing. She is what makes the wheels turn out here.” Kim thanked everyone and said “I have enjoyed my thirty years here. I have worked with great people and we have a lot of fun.”
Heard bid opening results for bid document 21-30-D, supply and deliver tubular steel poles for the Rapids to Columbia 320 KV Transmission Line. All bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Authorized acceptance of work and final payment to ABB Enterprise software Inc. under contract 20-18-D, supply and deliver 115kV and 230kV instrument transformers to Lincoln Rock Switchyard. All work is complete and determined to meet bid specifications. (21-104)
Approved negotiation of a contract for bid document 21-08-W, construction of new water well at Wells Hatchery as allowed under RCW 54.04.080. (21-105)
Authorized amendment No. 1 to professional service agreement with Electrical Consultants, Inc. to increase the scope of work and the contract limit to $1,200,000. (21-106)
Approved amendment No. 2 to interagency agreement with Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife for increased Chinook production at the Wells Hatchery. This will extend the term of the contract to June 30, 2023 and increase the cost to WDFW by $445,500. (21-107)
The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. July 26, 2021 at the District’s East Wenatchee Office.
