Douglas County PUD Commissioners Aaron J. Viebrock and Ronald E Skagen executed the following actions during the February 7, 2022 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:

Approved acceptance of work and final payment to General Pacific Inc. under contract 21-35-D, 15kV Breakers for Urban Industrial Substation. Work is complete and determined to meet bid specifications. (22-018)

Authorized a call for bids under bid document 22-23-D, Western Red Cedar Transmission Poles necessary for the Rocky Reach to Chelan Falls Transmission Line. (22-019)

Approved land use permit 651-05, Scarlett Sunsett LLC. The permit is for use of Project lands for existing landscaping and permitted activities. (22-020)

Authorized land use permit 1127-01, Colville Confederated Tribes, Fish and Wildlife. The permit is for use of Project lands for existing and previously permitted uses. (22-021)

Approved land use permit 1143-01, Colville Confederated Tribes, Fish and Wildlife. The permit is for use of Project lands for existing and previously permitted uses. (22-022)

Authorized signal transport agreement with NBCUniversal Content Distribution. These agreements are required by most networks to receive and transport the signal over the Douglas County Community Network. (22-023)

Approved renewal of the business travel insurance with CIGNA. (22-024)

Authorized a request for qualifications 22-21-W, professional archaeological services, Wells Hydroelectric Project. The District has a need for ongoing professional archaeological and cultural resources services in support of ongoing Wells Hydroelectric Project license compliance activities. (22-025)

Approved waiving the competitive bidding requirement to purchase single and three phase padmount transformers due to market conditions. (22-026)

The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. February 22, 2022 at the District’s Bridgeport Office.
