News Release – June 4, 2024

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ronald E. Skagen, Aaron J. Viebrock and Molly Simpson executed the following actions during the June 4, 2024 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:

Reviewed bid opening results under bid document 24-24-D, standard shape steel for Clovis substation. All bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.

Authorized amendment of Railroad Right-Of-Way land use permit RR427-01, City of Pateros. The permit is for use of Project lands for pylon sign with crossing, curb and pedestrian improvements. (24-061)

Renewed Railroad Right-Of-Way land use permit RR439-01, City of Pateros. The renewed permit is for use of Project lands for existing vehicle passage, parking and RV dump. (24-062)

Authorized amendment No. 4 to professional service agreement 21-23-W, Mechanical Engineering services at the Wells Hydroelectric Project with Black and Veatch Corporation. Additional service and inspections are necessary to complete the FERC Part 12D Comprehensive Assessment. The amendment increases the not to exceed cost $586,342. (24-063)

Reminder the June 18th Commission meeting has been cancelled.

The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. July 2, 2024 at the District’s East Wenatchee Office.
