News Release – July 1, 2025
Douglas County PUD Commissioners Molly Simpson, Aaron J. Viebrock and Ronald E. Skagen executed the following actions during the July 1, 2025 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:
Approved land use permit 379-01, City of Pateros. The permit is for use of Project lands for a final expansion of the adjacent Monument to the Methow. (25-037)
Authorized notice to Public Utility District No. 1 of Chelan County of election to extend term of power sales contract dated April 6, 1976 for the sale and purchase of Rocky Reach Project output. (25-038)
The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. July 15, 2025 at the District’s East Wenatchee Office.
