Douglas County PUD Commissioners Molly Simpson, Aaron J. Viebrock and Ronald E. Skagen executed the following actions during the February 3, 2026 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:
Reviewed bid opening results for 25-36-D, Rapids 13.2kV expansion, 25-39-D, tapered steel structures for Lone Pine to O’Malley, 25-42-D, furnish fiber optic cable for Lone Pine to O’Malley, 25-44-D, Lone Pine to O’Malley transmission hardware and 26-07-D, East Wenatchee Headquarters office building HVAC system upgrades. All bids are evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Renewed insurance for non-owned aircraft liability with Starr Aviation. (26-010)
Awarded contract 25-36-D, Rapids 13.2kV expansion to DJ’s Electrical, Inc the lowest responsive bidder. (26-011)
Awarded contract 25-44-D, Lone Pine to O’Malley transmission hardware to Border States Industries, Inc. the lowest responsive bidder. (26-012)
Awarded contract 26-07-D, East Wenatchee Headquarters office building HVAC system upgrades to Halme Builders, Inc. the lowest responsive bidder. (26-013)
The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. February 17, 2026 at the District’s Bridgeport Office.
