News Release – February 18, 2025
Douglas County PUD Commissioners Molly Simpson, Aaron J. Viebrock and Ronald E. Skagen executed the following actions during the February 18, 2025 Commission meeting held at the District’s Bridgeport office:
Approved renewal of the business travel insurance with CIGNA. (25-007)
Authorized land use agreement with the Bonneville Power Administration. Necessary to serve new customers. (25-008)
Approved amendment No. 5 to professional service agreement 20-20-W, professional engineering support for the Generator Rebuild and Unit Refurbishment at the Wells Hydroelectric Project with Stantec. This will increase the contract $6M to continue engineering consulting services through the completion of the Generator Rebuild and Unit Refurbishment Project and incorporate the 2025 rate schedule. Approved change order No. 13 to contract 22-13-D, Hydrogen Production and fueling facility. Changes include field work orders, revised wiring, specialized fittings and bus modifications at an increased cost of $117,020. (25-010)
The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. March 4, 2025 at the District’s East Wenatchee Office.
