Commission Meeting Report 2019-10-28

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ronald E Skagen, Molly Simpson and Aaron J. Viebrock executed the following actions during the October 28, 2019 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:

Heard the bid opening results for bid documents 19-27-D, supply and deliver compact 1100 kcmil EPR underground cable and 19-26-W, 15T compact rough terrain mobile crane for the Wells Hydroelectric Project.

Approved Note No. 3 loan from the Electric Distribution System Capital Project Revolving Loan Fund to the Wells Hydroelectric Project. (19-133)

Accepted bids received for surplus District property sold by Chuck Yarbro Auction. The auction provided a net return of $20,748 to Douglas PUD. (19-134)

Authorized acceptance of Grant of Franchise with Douglas County Transportation and Land Services. This allows the agencies to coordinate work in the Douglas County Right-of-Way. (19-135)

Awarded contract 19-27-D, supply and deliver compact 1100 kcmil EPR underground cable to WESCO Distribution, Inc. the lowest responsive bidder. (19-136)

Approved land use permits for Gebbers Farms LLC (75-01) and Repo LLC (1129G-01). These permits will allow joint use docks on District property. (19-137)

Authorized supporting hydropower and opposing removal of the Lower Snake River Dams. These dams are significant, carbon-free capacity resources for the Northwest. (19-138)​

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. November 12, 2019 at the District’s East Wenatchee office.
