Notice of Hearing – 2024 Update to the Integrated Resource Planning Study

Consideration of Adoption of the 2024 Update to the Integrated Resource Planning Study


Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held March 5, 2024 at 1:30 pm at the East
Wenatchee Headquarters Building, 1151 Valley Mall Parkway, East Wenatchee, for public
comment related to the 2024 Update to the Integrated Resource Planning Study. In accordance
with provisions of the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (P.L. 102-486), Douglas PUD is required to
consider implementing Integrated Resource Planning. Integrated Resource Planning is a
planning process for loads and resources that evaluates the full range of resource activities,
including generation capacity, power purchases, energy conservation, energy efficiency, demand
response and renewable energy resources in order to provide adequate and reliable service to
customers at the lowest system cost.


Douglas PUD has developed a draft 2024 Update to the Integrated Resource Planning Study
(2024 Update). The draft 2024 Update is available at the offices of Public Utility District No. 1
of Douglas County, 1151 Valley Mall Parkway, East Wenatchee and by clicking here.

In addition to the hearing, written comments will also be accepted and should be addressed to
Commission, Public Utility District No. 1 of Douglas County, 1151 Valley Mall Parkway, East
Wenatchee, Washington 98802.
