Trees can often help shade your home to help with summertime electric bills. They can also cause power outages if they are not properly located. Please avoid planting trees or large shrubs within three feet of your electric meter. Always remember to Call before you dig! Many utility services are often buried underground. Damaging or disturbing underground utilities can cause power outages in your neighborhood or seriously hurt you. Please call the underground utility locate: 811 two business days before you plan on digging.
